VBC PURPOSE The purpose of Victory Bible College (VBC) is to assist men and women in recognizing and maximizing God's call on their lives. Each person called to ministry receives the spiritual endowment (anointing) necessary to equip him or her for the assigned task. In Romans 11:29 we read: "for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." Gifts and callings go hand in hand. Individuals, single or married, who have been called of God to a particular ministry, are equipped by God with spiritual gifts necessary to carry out that ministry. Note the source of the gifts: God. Note also the source of the callings: God. Therefore, if you know that you are called of the Lord, don't worry about your ability or lack thereof to fulfill that call. Although you have certain spiritual gifts (anointing), there are things that you must do. VBC will focus on the "response" to the call, emphasizing the Spirit-Controlled life and the integrity of men and women who operate according to God's Word. We believe that one of the most important facets of the Christian life is developing the fruit of the Spirit or having Godly character. As a minister of the gospel, you can flow in your gift (it's without repentance). However, MTS is designed to help you develop Godly character: love, joy, peace, faith, longsuffering, meekness, goodness, gentleness, and temperance. There is no limit to where you can go walking in the fruit of the Spirit and in the integrity of God's Word. Remember Hebrews 1:3: "He is upholding all things by the Word of his power." If you want to be upheld and enjoy prosperity and good success in your calling, we believe you must focus on His promises, follow the leadership of the Spirit of God, and walk in the fruit of God's Spirit.
